golf courses nearby; as well as riding stables, race tracks, and other recreational
facilities. Paul Bunyan Amusement Center, Vacationland, and the BIR
International Raceway are great places to spend the afternoon.. There are many unique
shops located in Brainerd and the surrounding area, along with a variety of restaurants
ranging from fine dining to fast food. Paradise
Shores Resort is within half an hour from the Grand Casino on Mille Lacs Lake,
BIR, and
surrounding communities. These communities are continuously providing festivities,
including the large 4th of July festivities in Brainerd.
